The Magic Cap

About The Magic Cap

The Magic Cap is a storybook approach towards inculcating citizenship values in the young. The book takes the narrator, a 13 year old child, through a fantasy land inhabited by strange looking creatures, but with life situations similar to our own.As the child navigates this world, key values of citizenship and democracy are brought to the forefront.

  • Suitable for 13 to 14 year olds
  • The stories have the children put on their thinking caps, and relate the content to their daily lives
  • The content is not ‘preachy’ and does not take ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ positions
  • The Constitution and its values are the guiding light for students

How will it be rolled out in school(s)
