Traffic Police Day

CMCA Event Traffic Police

CMCA Club members are taught to respect, empathise and appreciate the contribution of those from all backgrounds and treat everyone with respect. They celebrate the unsung heroes who work hard to keep our cities in motion! On average, a Traffic Police Official stands on duty for over twelve hours and sometimes more than that. We very often forget the very important role the Traffic Police play.

We believe that sustained campaigns lead to change in attitudes and practices and the need of the hour is to spread awareness on traffic and road safety to all road users, especially children and youth.

How is it celebrated:

CMCA’s students of the city acknowledge the Traffic Constables who work hard to keep our city moving. Children invite a few Traffic Police to their school and acknowledge them at the assembly or they visit the nearest traffic junction and spend some time thanking the Traffic Police. If there is a Traffic Police station near the school, they use this opportunity to visit the station and thank all the Traffic Police present for the good work they do in keeping our city safe.
